8 Open thy mouth for the dumb in the cause of all such as are appointed to destruction.
9 Open thy mouth, judge righteously, and plead the cause of the poor and needy.
Kingdom greetings to you and yours! Thanks be unto God for being able to witness such a grand occasion! I welcome you to journey with me for this is my year to produce and to walk in authority as a son of God. Today marks the thirty-fourth anniversary of the National Sanctity of Human Life Day as proclaimed first by then President Ronald Reagan. Unfortunately, I was unable to be present with thousands of pro-life Georgians assembled together at Liberty Plaza on Friday, January 19th in Atlanta to commemorate the lives of over 60,000,000 innocent, defenseless, pre-born babies that have been killed as a result of the Supreme Court decision (Roe v. Wade) legalizing abortion in 1973. One of my primary goals for this year is to be a voice not an echo crying in the wilderness preparing the way of the Lord! Stay tuned for a LIFE production! I pray that your faith be strengthened, that the fear of the Lord be pressed upon your heart, and that you will be more receptive to the voice our Father in heaven! It’s time for the Creator’s commands to be trumpeted boldly in love without compromise. Truly, I believe that bold faith will reveal your enemies as well as provoke your enemies to acknowledge the power of God (Daniel 4:34) as a result of our tested faith and obedience. Always remember that no matter what that God is sovereign!
August 27 @ 4:30 pm marked the first celebration of life event that I had the privilege of co-hosting as the Georgia Right To Life Chapter Leader for Wilcox County. It is such a blessing to work with God and the people he has graciously created! The event exceeded my expectations and was filled with laughter, food and countless gifts! In addition to gifts, the unique event, called “My Baby is a Person” baby shower, will include an information booth sponsored by the Wilcox County Chapter of Georgia Right to Life (GRTL). My idea behind the event was to use an event celebrating an expected birth to bring attention to the fact that all innocent human life regardless of age or circumstances- is to be valued and protected.
Thanks to the prospective parents of Ms. Sierra Dasher and Mr. Shannon Sea of Cordele were selected for the event by a drawing from a list of applicants. I especially praise this couple for their decision to have their child even though they have been told that their baby could have a disability. Personally, I believe that a disability doesn’t deny a child its personhood. This couple is an inspirational example for other couples who may face a similar situation.
The expectant couple will be presented with a “My Baby is a Person” T-shirt, and a gift basket and cake generously donated by Mrs. Michelle Turner who has also volunteered to be the chapter’s treasurer. I hope this event will draw attention to life issues and encourage participants to become GRTL volunteers. Special thanks to Mr. and Mrs. Kymberly Carter, Director of the Hands of Hope Pregnancy & Resource Center, and to Ms. Zemmie Fleck, Executive Director of GRTL for joining me in celebrating with the couple.
Truly, there is a tremendous need for more people to stand up for the sanctity of human life. Abortion has claimed the lives of at least 60 million children, while the elderly and infirm are increasingly at risk of being discarded as useless expenses. We need to change public opinion about these issues, and that takes people who are willing to join us in educating our community about the importance of Personhood and the sanctity of life.

I would like to dedicate this post to one of the newest members of my family and indeed a special one, Ms. Jewel Alani Daniels. Jewel was born on August 7, 2017 at 4:07am weighing in at 6lbs 4.6oz and 20in. Welcome! I can recall the phone call from my sister early that morning and the sternness of her voice. Indeed, I was so sleepy but became very alert while speaking with her. Little did I know that Jewel would be born a few hours later, but I was praying that my sister did not deliver while I was driving. Gratefully, she didn’t. However, upon arrival my nephew Mr. Jayce would not let me leave without his mommy. Needless to state, we waited in the parking lot which became our resting area which was very much needed for me. I celebrate this precious gift that God has sent and indeed honored to be her uncle. To state the least, I look forward to her developing into all that God has purposed for her. Children are the heritage of the Lord and I consider it my duty to be a voice for the voiceless, expose the evils of abortion with compassion and to promote life with no exceptions.
